The Dixie School District serves portions of northern San Rafael, Marinwood, and Lucas Valley areas. The Dixie School District consists of three elementary schools and a middle school. District enrollment is close to 1,700 students. The area falls within the San Rafael High School District with the majority of students moving on to Terra Linda High School.
